Old Mutual governance and compliance awareness campaigns were conducted throughout the group during the year under review. In addition, the Business School at Old Mutual hosted training programmes on corporate governance for all levels of staff.
Staff awareness campaigns included "Ambush Theatre" conducted by Group Forensic Services to light-heartedly illustrate the role of staff in corporate governance. Finally, Ask Afrika research consultants were commissioned to measure the level of governance awareness among staff. Results show a high level of awareness among employees.
Recognising that effective corporate governance is the foundation of any sustainable corporation, Old Mutual has crafted systems that inculcate within the organisation strong ethics, compliance, and risk management.
