Using
a triple-bottom line methodology, this report is structured into economic,
social and environmental sections.
For each of these sections, issues and indicators have been identified,
based on dialogue with internal and external stakeholders. Building
on the first cycle of measurement and reporting, over 60 issues and
associated indicators were identified for the current reporting period.
Of these, a core set of 36, up from last year’s 31, were highlighted
as key performance areas.
To assist users of this report, the 36 key performance issues are
summarised below. Associated indicators are reflected in the report
itself and comparative performance for 2001 is also shown. The issues
and indicators will continue to be refined in future reporting cycles,
and where appropriate, targets will in future be specified. |
